Should you store coffee beans in the fridge?

People always ask if you should put your coffee beans in the fridge (as we do most food). But what actually happens when you put coffee in the fridge? Similar to tomatoes, coffee is actually part of a fruit and the “bean” is actually a seed so when roasted all of the oils are inside the bean itself and so there is a chemical reaction when you put the coffee in the fridge or freezer.
