Importer Ally Coffee Consolidates US Business, Names Rogerio Schiavo CEO

Green coffee trader Ally Coffee has consolidated its United States specialty and commercial divisions while consolidating operations into its South Carolina headquarters. The company has also named a new CEO, Rogerio Schiavo.

Schiavo was previously the CEO of the Brazilian coffee exporting company Atlantica Coffee. Both Ally Coffee and Atlantica are part of the Montesanto Tavares Group of companies. In his new role at Ally, Schiavo replaces Bruno Tavares, who is now CFO of the Montesanto Tavares Group.

As part of the restructuring, Ally is consolidating its U.S. offices, closing its Plantation, Florida, office and moving all operations into its Greenville specialty coffee headquarters, which opened in 2018. That facility includes spaces for quality control and education, as well as offices.
